Where is my workout data stored?
On your device. Overload doesn't use an account or a server, so your training history never leaves your iPhone unless you back it up or share it deliberately. See the privacy policy for detail.
How do I back up my data?
Settings offers two options. iCloud backup writes to your own iCloud Drive and can run automatically after you finish a workout. You can also export a backup file and save or send it wherever you like. A backup file holds your workout data and isn't password-protected, so keep it somewhere you're comfortable with.
How do I restore a backup?
Open Settings and choose the restore option for either an iCloud backup or a backup file. Restoring permanently replaces everything currently in the app and cannot be undone, so only restore when you intend to overwrite your current data.
I'm changing to a new iPhone.
Back up before you switch, then restore on the new device. If you use iCloud backup, sign into the same Apple account on the new iPhone and the backup will be available.
What does Overload Pro include?
The free version supports up to 3 workouts with up to 10 exercises each. Pro raises that to 100 workouts with up to 50 exercises each, and unlocks workout sharing. It's a single one-off purchase — you pay once and keep it. There is no subscription.
I bought Pro but it isn't showing.
Open Settings and tap the Overload Pro row to bring up the purchase screen, then choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple account you bought with. If it still doesn't appear, email us and we'll sort it out.
How do I share a workout?
With Pro, open a workout and tap share to produce a link. Opening it on an iPhone with Overload installed adds the workout to the recipient's library. The workout is carried inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded anywhere.
A shared link opened in Safari instead of the app.
That usually means the link was typed or pasted into the address bar rather than tapped. Open it from Messages, Mail or wherever you received it. Overload also needs to be installed for the link to open in the app.
Overload requires iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
